2026 Priestly Ordination
The Holy Ghost Vocation Movement, under the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, joyfully celebrates a remarkable milestone in the journey of vocation and priestly formation: the 2026 Priestly and Diaconate Ordination, during which 17 priests and 15 deacons were ordained for service to God and His people. This sacred ordination was presided over by Most Rev. Thomas I. Obiatuegwu, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Orlu, who conferred the sacred orders and welcomed these men into deeper service of the Church.
Behind every one of these vocations lies a unique story — a story of God's call, years of formation, countless prayers, sacrifice, perseverance, and the loving support of families, formators, benefactors, and the entire Christian community.For the 17 newly ordained priests, the altar now becomes a place of daily service — where they will celebrate the Eucharist, proclaim the Word of God, administer the sacraments, accompany God's people, and bring Christ's presence into the world. For the 15 newly ordained deacons, this new chapter marks a significant step in their journey toward priesthood and a deeper commitment to service, charity, and the proclamation of the Gospel.

This celebration belongs not only to those who were ordained but to the entire Spiritan family and the Church. We celebrate the parents and families who nurtured these vocations, the formators and mentors who accompanied them, the communities that prayed for them, and the generous members and supporters of the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement whose contributions help sustain the formation of future priests and missionaries.
Your prayers and sacrifices are part of every vocation story.
Today, we give thanks for the gift of these 32 new ministers and pray that they will remain faithful to the call they have received. May God grant our newly ordained priests wisdom, humility, courage, compassion, and holiness as they begin their ministry. May He strengthen our newly ordained deacons as they continue their journey of service and preparation. And may the Holy Spirit continue to inspire more young men and women to generously respond to God's call.

Pastoral Visit by the Superior - Rev. Fr. Austin Nwosu C.S.Sp.
On 21st December 2025, the Spiritan Mission House Community, Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, was filled with joy and gratitude as the community warmly welcomed its Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Austin Nwosu, C.S.Sp., during his Pastoral Visit. The visit was a beautiful occasion of prayer, fellowship, encouragement, appreciation, and communion, bringing members of the community together in the spirit of the Gospel and the shared mission of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. A CHAPEL UNVEILED — A NEW PLACE OF SOLACE
One of the significant highlights of the pastoral visit was the unveiling of the Chapel of Divine Solace — a sacred space dedicated to prayer, reflection, consolation, and encounter with God. The unveiling marked more than the opening of a physical space. It represents the creation of a spiritual home where hearts can find peace, burdens can be lifted in prayer, and the faithful can draw closer to God.
May the Chapel of Divine Solace continually be a place where the weary find strength, the troubled find peace, and every seeking heart encounters the loving presence of God.
CELEBRATING DEDICATION & SERVICEThe occasion also provided a special opportunity to recognise and honour those whose commitment and dedication continue to strengthen the community.
In appreciation of his pastoral leadership and service, an award was presented to Rev. Fr. Austin Nwosu, C.S.Sp., as a gesture of gratitude from the community for his presence, guidance, and commitment to the Spiritan mission.
The community also celebrated one of its dedicated members, Bro. Luke Umego, who was honoured with an award in recognition of his thoughtfulness, mindfulness, and unwavering concern for the wellbeing of the community. His dedication is a beautiful reminder that community life is sustained not only by great moments, but also by the everyday acts of care, responsibility, service, and genuine concern for one another.
These recognitions added a special dimension to the celebration, reminding everyone that service deserves appreciation and commitment deserves to be celebrated.

2026 Pentecost Celebration
The celebration was a beautiful expression of faith, unity, prayer, and fellowship as members came together to commemorate the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and to renew their openness to the gifts and guidance of the Spirit.
🕊️ Hearts were lifted in prayer.
🔥 Faith was renewed.
🙏 Vocations were remembered and prayed for.
🤝 Fellowship strengthened the bonds of the Spiritan family.
For the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement, Pentecost is more than a celebration; it is a powerful reminder of the Church's missionary calling. The same Holy Spirit who empowered the Apostles continues to inspire young men and women to answer God's call and dedicate their lives to the service of His people.
The gathering also provided an opportunity for members to reflect on their important role in praying for, encouraging, and supporting vocations. Through their faith, generosity, and commitment, they help create an environment where future priests and missionaries can discern and faithfully live out their calling.
We thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit and for the gift of community.

It was a beautiful day of prayer, reflection, fellowship, and renewed encounter with the Holy Spirit. In the spirit of Pentecost, members came together to pause from the demands of daily life, open their hearts to God, and deepen their commitment to the mission of promoting and supporting vocations in the Church.
The day was filled with faith and fellowship.
Through prayer and spiritual reflection, hearts were renewed.
Through fellowship, bonds within the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement were strengthened.
Through the grace of the Holy Spirit, participants were encouraged to continue their journey of faith and service.
The recollection was a powerful reminder that vocation is not sustained by one person alone. It flourishes through prayer, encouragement, sacrifice, generosity, and the collective support of a community that believes in God's call.

The Annual General Meeting of the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement is more than just a gathering — it is a moment of faith, unity, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to the mission of nurturing vocations in the Church. Every year, members, supporters, and friends of the Spiritan family come together to strengthen the bonds of fellowship and contribute meaningfully to the formation of future missionaries.
This year’s gathering was a beautiful expression of unity, faith, and shared mission as we welcomed representatives from twelve (12) different zones across the South-East and South-South regions of Nigeria. The atmosphere was filled with love, fellowship, and a renewed commitment to supporting vocations in the Church.
Your overwhelming donations and contributions — including bags of rice, beans, garri, and other food items — are more than material gifts; they are seeds of hope sown into the lives and formation of our seminarians. Through your kindness, you continue to become active partners in raising future missionaries and servants of God for the Church and humanity.

Highlight: 2025 Holy Ghost Vocation Movement Annual Convention
The 2025 Annual Convention of the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement was held with great spiritual fervour at the Chapel of Conversion, Awo-Omamma, on May 17th, 2025.
Themed “Here I Am, Send Me” (Isaiah 6:8), the convention brought together hundreds of members, clergy, and vocation-minded youths from across the country for a four-day encounter with God.
Key Highlights:
- Spirit-filled Liturgies: Daily Masses and devotions rekindled the fire of divine calling in participants.
- Powerful Talks & Teachings: Speakers addressed vocational discernment, spiritual growth, and the role of youth in the Church.
- Testimonies & Sharing: Participants shared life-changing experiences and renewed commitment to answering God’s call.
- Adoration & Healing Sessions: Deep moments of prayer, reflection, and outpouring of grace.
- Commissioning of New Members: A special blessing was given to aspirants ready to begin their vocational journey.
The 2025 convention ended with renewed zeal, deeper unity, and a strong mandate to carry the fire of the Holy Ghost into the world.

2025 Priestly/Diaconate Ordination
On the 9th day of August 2025, the Holy Ghost Vocation Movement under the Congregation of the Holy Spirit (C.S.Sp.) was privileged to witness her 27 worthy children on their journey to the Priesthood, as they were bestowed the sacred gift of Holy Orders.
17 candidates were raised to the order of the Diaconate, and 10 candidates were raised to the order of the Presbyterate(priesthood).
Through your prayers and generous support, these men have embraced their lifelong missions in service to God and His Church.
